✿ Todos los pines de esmalte están hechos a mano y rellenados y pulidos individualmente por trabajadores, por lo tanto, algunos de ellos pueden tener imperfecciones. Cuantos más defectos pueda presentar un pin, más económico será.
A Grados
Estos pines son casi perfectos y digo casi porque están hechos a mano y no existe el pin perfecto, pero son los mejores de la tanda.
✿ Pequeños rasguños o rozaduras en el metal o el esmalte, apenas perceptibles.
✿ Imperfecciones menores en el revestimiento de metal, apenas perceptibles.
✿ Motas/puntos levemente perceptibles o motas oscurecidas en áreas de brillo en pines con brillo, esta es la variación esperada en los pines de brillo.
✿ Débil/ligero y pequeño punto o pequeña mancha en el esmalte, apenas perceptible
Grados B
Estos pines vienen con pequeños defectos.
✿ Burbujas/motas/poros superficiales en el esmalte
✿ Relleno ligeramente insuficiente, excesivo o irregular de esmalte que solo se nota en un cierto ángulo/iluminación
✿ Scruffs en el costado o en la parte posterior del pin (NO en el frente)
✿ Serigrafía ligeramente desalineada
Grados C
Estos pines vienen con fallas más notorias que A y B, y se venderán con descuento. Pueden contener al menos uno o más de los siguientes:
✿ Punto negro intermedio y perceptible, pequeña mancha o burbuja en el esmalte
✿ Alguna área de chapado faltante y/o rayones profundos en el metal a través del pasador
✿ Relleno insuficiente, excesivo o desigual del esmalte más notorio
✿ Serigrafía muy desalineada o faltante en pines que tienen serigrafía
Segundos
Estos pines vienen con fallas importantes que prefiero darles un hogar que simplemente tirarlos. Se venden con un gran descuento.
✿ Agujeros notables
✿ Gran punto negro, pequeña mancha o burbuja en el esmalte. El pin puede parecer sucio/polvoriento
✿ Gran área de revestimiento faltante y/o rayones profundos en el metal a lo largo del pasador
✿ Relleno insuficiente, excesivo o desigual del esmalte. El pasador puede parecer de esmalte blando y no de esmalte duro.
✿ Color de esmalte incorrecto en área más grande del diseño
✿ Cualquier otra imperfección que pueda alterar un poco el diseño real
ENAMEL PINS
A Grades
These pins are almost perfect and I say almost because they are handmade and there is no such thing as a perfect pin, but they are the best of the batch.
- Small scratches or scuffs on the metal or enamel, barely noticeable.
- Minor imperfections in metal plating, barely noticeable.
- Slightly noticeable specks/dot or darkened specks in glitter areas on pins with glitter, this is expected variation in glitter pins.
- Faint/light and small dot or small smudge on enamel, barely noticeable
B Grades
These pins come with little flaws.
- Superficial bubbles/speckles/pores on enamel
- Slightly underfill, overfill, or uneven fill of enamel that only noticeable at a certain angle/lighting
- Scruffs on the side or back of pin (NOT the front)
- Slightly misaligned screenprinting
C Grades
These pins come with more noticeable flaws than A and B, and will be sold at a discount. They may contain at least one or more of the following:
- Intermediate and noticeable black dot, small smudge, or bubble on enamel
- Some area of missing plating and/or deep scratches on the metal across the pin
- More noticeable underfill, overfill, or uneven fill of enamel
- Very misaligned or missing screenprinting in pins that have screenprint
Seconds
These pins come with major flaws that I rather give them a home than simply tossing them away. They are sold at a large discount.
- Noticeable holes
- Large black dot, small smudge, or bubble on enamel. Pin may appear dirty/dusty
- Large area of missing plating and/or deep scratches on the metal across the pin
- Significant underfill, overfill, or uneven fill of enamel. The pin may appear to be soft enamel and not hard enamel
- Incorrect enamel color in larger area of the design
- Any other imperfections that may alter the actual design a little
